Shec Energy Selects Emerson For Solar Thermal Facilities

Shec Energy has entered into an agreement with Emerson Process Management to help bring online new solar thermal facilities for power generation.
The company has selected Emerson's automation services to maximize the efficiency of its planned renewable energy projects globally and to help Shec Energy bring the cost of solar power in line with conventional sources of electricity.
Tom Beck, CEO of Shec Energy, said: "Our goal is to provide the lowest cost renewable energy anywhere in the world. Working with Emerson Process Management, one of the world's leading process automation companies, is a key element in our strategy to operate the highest efficiency, lowest cost plants in the renewable energy industry."
Shec Energy claims that its technology allows to produce solar power at costs approaching those of traditional, fossil fuel-based technologies. Shec's technology can produce alternative fuels such as hydrogen, as well as heating for industrial applications.
